Faith in Action: Haiti
Six Months Later
The island of Haiti was devastated when it was hit by a massive earthquake on January 12, 2010. More than 300,000 people were killed and much of the infrastructure of the island was destroyed or badly damaged.
Earlier this month, Odyssey Networks sent a film crew to Haiti to see how recovery is going. In our first of five videos, Raynald Saintil of Lutheran World Federation takes an Odyssey Networks film crew on a tour of the island to see what is being done, as well as the almost overwhelming amount of work still remaining.

Faith and Environment
Peace is at the heart of our mission. Our rapidly changing environment is a growing threat to that mission as conflicts over dwindling resources spread across the globe. That is why we are continuing our commitment to environment beyond the 2009 climate change conference in Copenhagen.
