Thanks so much for sharing about that. I do feel much better, when I create something, write about something that makes others smile etc. I did actually go through a time when I bought flowers and they seemed just as important as the food I brought home. I had a friend who did that and thats what got me doing it. But I had stopped doing it. I will start doing that again..that was great. Thanks! -Holly Submitted By: Holly

I don't know how to relate this message in the context of discrimination that is continuous.... Submitted By: Holly

Izzeldin Abuelaish, Tzvika Shahak and Immaculee Ilibagiza are amazing examples of how one can forgive despite tragedy. They are strong role models and can teach people to open their homes (hearts and minds) and world to something great, peace and love. Submitted By: Des

Discovered the wisdom of Sobonfu Some last year after she was featured here. I had experienced a profund loss and her comforting words of on grief, loss, and eventual healing and peace helped me climb out of "The Pit" and back on solid ground. Thank you and God for showing us her gifts. I had to borrow her book from an inter-library loan. It came to me and helped me heal. Submitted By: Skyline Girl

This was a beautiful and meaningful message. How often we forget these very basic connections! Submitted By: Tanya Virgilio

The greatest compassion that we ever benefited from is the Compassion og God the Almighty. Compassion is the natural love that proceed froms ones heart... this may be guided by the fear and observation of Gods' words Submitted By: Andrew

Compassion, like love, starts at home. Many of us are very kind, forgiving, and eager to help, please, and forgive outside of home more quickly than we do our own flesh and blood. How can we make home more pleasant and peaceful for those that we live with? To anticipate the needs of parents, younger siblings, and anyone who is a member of your household is an act of compassion. As the scripture says, behold the beam that is in your own eye, then you can see clearly to help another. So ask the Lord to help you to start at home, loving, giving, forgiving and doing your share where you live. It matters so much because we all have our times when we need to be forgiven, to get things done, to have someone listen to us, and to be loved. Beloveds, let us love one another, for love is of God and everyone that loves is born of God and knows him. if you don't love, you don't know Him because God is Love. We can learn from watching others, and considering ourselves in similar situations. Ther

I just love Joan Borysenko and have ever since I read her "Woman's Book of Life". Her observations are simple, profound and pragmatic. Submitted By: Susan McCullough-Byars
