Peter A. Geffen is the Founder and Executive Director of KIVUNIM and Founder of the Abraham Joshua Heschel School in New York City. He served as the Executive Director of the Center for Jewish History from 2003-05 and served as educational consultant to many new Jewish day schools across the United States and Canada over the past 2 decades. Together with his KIVUNIM students Peter travels throughout the world, exploring the interrelationship between historical Jewish communities (many over 2000 years old) and the host communities and cultures in which they lived. He has been a social activist since his teens, seeking to bring greater peace and justice to the world in which we live.
