Shooter & Editor needed for staff position
Looking for an experienced shooter/editor with sound editorial judgment to join our production team. Content includes short-form news and current affairs pieces for the web and lifestyle pieces for our mobile apps.
The ideal person will have experience with shooting ENG and tapeless workflows and be a whizediting on Final Cut Pro. We work in a fast paced environment with a quick turn around required on most edits.
You should be well seasoned in production, confident out in the field with the ability to operate as a one-man band, exercise strong editorial judgment while editing and be able to work as part of a larger team. Although we strive to work regular hours you may need to work longer hours during monthly deadlines and occasional weekend shoots.
Requirements for the position:
- 3-5 years shooting & editing experience for television, web or documentary
- Knowledge of HDSLR & AF100 cameras
- Some news gathering background
This is a staff position – and after a 3 month probationary period you would be eligible for health insurance and other benefits.
