Reconstructionist Rabbinical College

Multifaith Studies and Initiatives is a department within the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College founded in the late 1980's to strengthen interfaith learning at the school through academic courses and co-curricular activities. Since 1997, the department also provides student internships at interfaith organizations and incubates innovative initiatives and resources at the leading edge of the field of interfaith seminary education. Through our internal programs, Reconstructionist rabbis are equipped not only to respond to the challenges of religious pluralism, but also to be leaders and activists in creating a more tolerant and just society. Through our retreats, special projects and web presence, we share our work with the larger Jewish and multifaith world.
