Today synagogues throughout the U.S. and Canada are coming together for "Shabbat Across America," an event sponsored by the National Jewish Outreach Program, an Orthodox organization. Families are participating from coast to coast - from the Pacific Jewish Center in Venice Beach, California to the Lincoln Square Synagogue in New York City, and many locations inbetween.
