Faith Leaders Respond to Eviction From Zuccotti Park

In the early morning hours of Nov. 15th, Mayor Bloomberg ordered a police raid to clear Zuccotti Park of the Occupy Wall Street protesters who had camped there for almost two months. Faith leaders and protesters congregated nearby to contemplate their next step.

This is inspiring. We assume that the stereotypical republican Christians/faith leaders would not involve themselves with a more liberal-leaning movement. I'm glad these people are proving us wrong! Keep the faith and protest on!

The entire Occupy Wall Street movement has arisen out of pure democracy. What is democracy without responsibility? Large corporations in America would not be large without the hard and smart work of its American employees and its American consumers; so you would think the large mega corporations would have a unique responsibility to keep Americans employed and paid American Employees a fair and equitable wage, compensation, health insurance and retirement.

If the large mega corporations did pay American employees equitable wages then we would not have unemployement in America. then we would not have so any families losing their homes in foreclosure. If the same occurred with large mega churches who could assist families in keeping their homes and developing encomic opportunities for people who live within and around the greater communities then the foreclosure rates would greatly be reduced.

How is it that we have to and are required to pay for car insurance and we dont have medical and health insurance in this affluent country? That makes no sense at all. Every American should have health insurance similarly to having car insurance. Again, If large mega corporations would pay people fair and equitable wages, and compensation we would have a striving economy. No American company should hire foreign workers or do outsourcing until we get the American economy back into a strong striving economy. Tax breaks should only be given to companies who are hiring new and re-hiring employees. Tax breaks should be given comensurate with a certain percentage of new hirees.

Even governmental subsidies should only be given to mega businesses who are hiring NEW employees. Tax breaks should be given only to mega businesses who are hiring NEW employees. Tax breaks should be earned not rich corporate welfare.

Last we can reduce the debt by every church, every foundation, every business, every person and every non-profit business gives 10 percent of their earning paid to the US Treasury and there YOU have it the budget deficit would be reduced to at a minimum of 5 trillion and that would help restore our nations credit and economic stability, but EVERYONE must pay their fair share there is no way around that fact.
