Investigating the NYPD's Use of "The Third Jihad"

In January 2011, after New York City Police Department officials claimed the film "The Third Jihad" was shown mistakenly to officers just a few times, the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University Law School decided to investigate further. At the end of a nearly year-long correspondence over their Freedom of Information Law request, the Brennan Center learned late last year that the department was far understating their use of the film, Faiza Patel, Brennan's co-director of the Liberty and National Security Program, explains.
