On October 7th, Peace activist and author Leymah Gbowee addressed the media in a press conference just hours after being notified that she had won the Nobel Peace Prize. Gbowee, a Liberian Lutheran Peace Activist and mother of six is credited with helping to end civil war in Liberia.
