A Not-For-Profit Media Organization

Welcome to Odyssey Networks, the nation’s largest non-profit coalition of Christian, Jewish and Muslim faith groups dedicated to building bridges of understanding through media.

Disaster in Haiti

In the nearly three weeks since the catastrophic Jan. 12 earthquake, Haiti feels like a desert bereft of much that makes for a dignified life. Chris Herlinger reports for Church World Service.  Filmmaker and producer Tim Frakes is in Haiti and we will be featuring his videos.

See more videos from Haiti here.

As always, faith groups are mobilizing and sending support to Haiti, and Odyssey Network members are no exception. Please click here to see how you can help.

In a blog post, Odyssey Networks vice president Eric Shafer reminds us that Davey and Goliath was one of the first television programs to feature non-white characters and although produced by the Lutheran Church, was non-sectarian in its approach.
